Several Iowa players were in action on Sunday in North Liberty as the second set of this season’s games were under way. Here is how things went down from a scoring perspective, per Brendan Stiles (@thebstiles) of HawkeyeDrive.com:
Jarrod Uthoff: 29 points/9 rebounds
Zach McCabe: 27 points/15 rebounds
Gabe Olaseni: 25 points/7 rebounds
Anthony Clemmons: 25 points/7 rebounds, 7 assists
Mike Gesell: 21 points/15 assists
Adam Woodbury: 23 points/10 rebounds
Peter Jok: 22 points/6 rebounds
Okey Ukah: 17 points/10 rebounds
Kyle Meyer: 9 points/8 rebounds
Aaron White and Devyn Marble didn’t play on Sunday night as they are en route to Colorado for a USA Basketball tryout. Josh Oglesby has an injured finger, which has forced him to sit out the first two games of this summer.
Brendan Stiles made this interesting observation on twitter:
Player I've been most impressed by today is Clemmons. Active at both ends of the floor & he's going against Gesell most of the time.

Clemmons was a bit of a revelation in December and January last year, but hit a wall as his freshman season progressed. Yet when he was at the top of his game, he showed a very good burst off the bounce as well as the beginnings of a good shooting stroke. Plus, he’s got the ability to defend a bigger point guard, something Gesell struggled with.
HawkeyeDrive.com: A good read (and watch) from Stiles. Has several quotes from Peter Jok in this one and is the best recap of the PTL action that you will find.
